28 days and counting

I haven't even moved out of Boulder yet and already I'm thinking about Australia...what clothes I want to pack, what I need to buy before I go, if I should get a base tan before I leave so I don't fry (probably). Yes, all extremely important things I know. Can't wait to get on a surf board, see kangaroos, play with Maddy, meet her kitties, and best of all: avoid the snow/cold/misery that is Colorado in January and February. Moving out of my apartment tomorrow and going home for Xmas and New Years. Haven't done any shopping yet, oops! Hopefully mom and I can get some skiing in, see some movies, and take many trips to the library. Will be great having no school work and actually having time for leisurely reading (will not be in a classroom again until March 2nd ha ha). Well, looks like it's time for my daily 2+ hour skyping with Maddy...we'll have nothing to talk about once I get there at this rate :)
